Roberto Flotte is a doctoral candidate in the Department of Anthropology at Harvard University. Her interests include legal and media anthropology, indigenous peoples recognition and rights, security systems and militarization, knowledge production, extractive resource industries, and LGBT migration. Her geographical focus are the U.S.-Mexico, the Mexico-Guatemala borderlands, and Central America.
