Welcome!

I'm currently a third year MD-PhD student at Harvard, in the first year of my PhD in health policy and economics. Recently, I've been thinking a lot about the intersections of economics and human biology in global contexts, particularly interested in older populations. Some of my current work is related to the long-term physiologic and economic ramifications of natural disasters, international drivers of non-communicable disease, and the intersections of economic behavior with metabolic function and cognition. Much of this work has been in Indonesia, where I've spent a lot of time doing fieldwork. I've also done some prior work on COVID-19 related mortality disparities and mental health.

Prior to grad school, I was an undergraduate in the Robertson Scholars program at Duke, where I studied economics and chemistry, and spent a year as an NBER research assistant.
