The conference, to be held on 5-6 July at the University of Cambridge, brings together conceptions of mountains as both subjects of enquiry and the settings of unique human and beyond-human stories across the globe. I will present a paper entitled "Mountaineers without Frontiers: Interwar Central Europe and the Search for the Lost Mountains."
