Jon Rogowski is an associate professor in the Department of Government at Harvard University. His research focuses broadly on American politics, with specific interests in political institutions, political economy, and the American presidency. Professor Rogowski's work has been published in journals including the American Political Science Review, American Journal of Political Science, Journal of Politics, British Journal of Political Science, Legislative Studies Quarterly, and Presidential Studies Quarterly. His current research projects focus on executive branch politics and the presidency in the contemporary and historical periods. At Harvard, Professor Rogowski regularly teaches undergraduate and graduate courses on the American presidency, separation of powers, and research design.
Prior to joining the faculty at Harvard, Professor Rogowski was an assistant professor in the Department of Political Science at Washington University in St. Louis. He received his Ph.D. in political science from the University of Chicago.
