Background

I received bachelor degree in Veterinary medicine from Nepal in 2008. Thereafter, I moved to Europe to undertake a sandwich Erasmus Mundus Master program (EMABG) from Wageningen University, The Netherlands and Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences, Sweden in Molecular genetics and Bioinformatics. In 2012, I joined Prof. Leif andersson's lab at Uppsala University in Sweden as a PhD student to study the genetics of adaptation in natural populations that included birds like Darwin's Finches, Ruff and Atlantic Herring fish. After completing my PhD, I joined Prof. Scott Edwards lab at Harvard, where I am currently a Wenner-Gren fellow.
