About me

I am a research fellow at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Harvard Medical School. I received my Ph.D in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Northeastern University, and a MS degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Texas Tech University.

My research interests are in applying machine learning and computer vision algorithms to analyze a wide range of natural and medical images such as traffic surveillance, pavement surfaces, 3D reflectance confocal microscopy of skin, 2D fluorescence microscopy of U2OS osteosarcoma and 3T3 fibroblast cell and histopathological tissues. In particular, I am interested in Bayesian non-parametric models. My current work focusses on developing novel probabilistic models for identification, detection and classification of features from histopathological (breast cancer) images.
