Welcome!

I am a doctoral candidate in the Department of Government at Harvard University. My research interests include the relationship between economic segregation and local politics in the United States. In particular, I am interested in how economic segregation shapes local political behavior and representation of disparate economic groups. I also study the intersection of racial and economic segregation in American cities.

I graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Johns Hopkins University in 2012 with a B.A. in International Studies. My senior thesis examined the implementation and consequences of "creative class" policies in Lowell, Massachusetts.
