# DISCLAIMERS (Please read and Acknowledge)
Instructions:
Read the following Discclaimers, then enter your name to acknowledge
that you have read the section
----
Final approval of an account request is subject to our review of requested
resources against available resources.

If you have recurring or continual needs for greater resources than are
available through our standard service offerings, we may be able to pursue
another solution where additional resources are allocated to your research,
but this would also need to be arranged explicitly and would incur an ongoing
maintenance cost which you would need to arrange
funding for.

While we offer a wide variety of statistical programs, many of our researchers
choose R to take advantage of our high performance computing cluster. You are
welcome to use the program of your choice, but please be advised that there may
be limitations in licensing for particular statistical applications.

HMDC accounts are designed to be secure, but HMDC does not warrant them for
storage of high risk confidential information (HRCI). This includes, but may not
be limited to: social security numbers, credit card numbers, medical history,
employment history, etc.

HMDC will not engage directly in the acquisition of Harvard Confidential
Information (HCI) and will only facilitate its storage and access through
approved channels. The procedures for obtaining and using HCI from any source
must be in accordance with Harvard Enterprise Information Security Policy.

HMDC is not responsible for monitoring the content of the data within the
account. It is the sole responsibility of the account holder to ensure the
application is being used to store and access data in accordance with Harvard's
Information Security & Privacy guidelines.

Any possible security breach that might put confidential information at risk
will be reported promptly to the IRB as well as the School or University CIO.
