Curriculum Vitae

Oliver Simons joined Harvard's German Department in 2005. He has worked on literature and space, literary theories, German colonialism, and such authors as Heinrich von Kleist, Franz Kafka, Robert Musil, and Ingeborg Bachmann. His research interests include literature & science, the “end” around 1800, and literary theories. Currently, he is preparing a booklength study on Inversions, Folds, Anamorphosis: A Spatial History of Poststructuralism.
