Simon completed his Master of Liberal Arts at the Harvard Extension School concentrating in the field of Bioengineering and Nanotechnology on May 2021. He was a visiting graduate student conducting thesis research at Massachusetts Institute of Technology under the supervision of Darrell Irvine. His thesis research titled "Designing self-amplifying replicons for transient gene expression of interleukin-18" focused on expanding the application to a platform to express multiple genes in vitro. He holds an Bachelor of Arts in the Biological Sciences specialized in Immunology from the University of Chicago. He currently holds a position as a Manager, R&D Operations at Tango Therapeutics. Prior to this role, he has worked at Novartis Institutes for Biomedical Research as a Senior Scientist as part of Oncology Pharmacology/Oncology Drug Discovery.
