I'm an Economics PhD Candidate at Harvard and a PhD Scholar in Harvard's Program in Inequality and Social Policy. Since March 2021 I'm also a Nonresident Senior Fellow at the Peterson Institute for International Economics. I will be joining MIT Sloan's Work and Organization Studies group as an Assistant Professor in Fall 2021.
My research focuses on labor and macro economics, and I'm currently particularly focused on issues to do with labor market power (like monopsony, unions). I've previously worked on minimum wage non-compliance, the divergence between productivity and pay, and central bank independence.
*New!* my 7-minute talk on worker power, as part of Harvard's "Big Ideas in Inequality" series (start at 25:58)
