I'm an Economics PhD Candidate at Harvard and a Stone PhD Scholar in Harvard's Program in Inequality and Social Policy. My research focuses on macro and labor economics, and I'm currently working on worker outside options and labor market power. I've recently worked on the divergence between productivity and pay with Larry Summers and on central bank independence with Ed Balls & James Howat.
Before the PhD, I worked as a research and teaching assistant for Larry Summers, Martin Feldstein and the Harvard Center for International Development. I did my BA in Economics at Cambridge, where I graduated joint first in my year, and first came to the US as a Kennedy Scholar to do the Masters in Public Policy at Harvard Kennedy School.
