 Dr. Kozlovskaya, a native speaker of Russian, received an M.A. in German Studies and Education from St. Petersburg State Pedagogical University in Russia and a Ph.D. in Classical and Near Eastern Archaeology from Bryn Mawr College, USA. Currently working as a language instructor at the Star Academy, she has been teaching Russian for many years, both in a regular language-class environment and through content-based instruction in humanities. The focus of her teaching is on heritage speakers, but she has also taught Russian as a foreign language, including the Intensive Elementary Russian at the Harvard Summer School.  Since 2017, she has participated in the STARTALK summer program as a leader of various projects, such as the Newsroom and a museum-based project on the Russian avantgarde.
