Stuart Po-Hong Liu, MD, MPH is a clinical investigator focusing on GI and liver diseases. He was trained as a gastroenterologist in Taiwan. He subsequently earned his MPH degree at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health with concentration in biostatistics and epidemiology. He is currently a trainee in Physician-Scientist Training Program in Internal Medicine/Gastroenterology in UT Southwestern Medical Center. He has published extensively on the management and prognosis of hepatocellular carcinoma, diverticular disease, and colorectal cancer screening. He has won several national and international young investigator awards. Outside of medicine, his interests include history, computers, hiking, running, watching cycling races, squirrels, and transitional justice.
