The iconic Banff region of Canada sits at the nexus of the debate on sustainable tourism.  Banff's stakeholders are asking how increasing global visitation levels can be reconciled with growing examples of negative environmental impacts and resident dissatisfaction.  Epler Wood is presenting on her book Sustainable Tourism on a Finite Planet, to provide insights into the challenges facing global destinations with a goal of attaining a policy pathway to a balanced set of sustainable outcomes via dialog among Canadian tourism thought leaders in Banff.
