I am a post-doctoral fellow at Harvard's Centre for Research on Computation and Society (CRCS). I work with Professor Margo Seltzer on the various applications of data provenance. Provenance is metadata describing where, how and when a particular item of data has been generated, manipulated or transformed. My projects include: improving the reproducibility of scientific results through automated capture of provenance metadata and inclusion of such information in scientific data repository (through ongoing collaboration with the dataverse project); and demonstrating compliance with data protection regulations.
