Welcome!

My name is Neil Thivalapill and I am an M.S. candidate in Clinical Epidemiology at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Most of my research focuses on predicting clinical outcomes, such as acquisition, adverse-events, and adherence, in the infectious disease setting. I am currently consulting for the World Bank's Human Capital Project, where I'm working to identify sub-groups of adolescents in Southern Africa through unsupervised learning methods in an effort to help realize the region's demographic dividend. I am passionate about training the next generation of public health practictioners and work with Prof. Sue Goldie as Deputy Head Teaching Fellow for her course, World Health: Challenges and Opportunities, at Harvard College. I have a B.A. in Biology and Human Rights from Columbia University and will be attending Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine in the Fall of 2020.
