I am a Ph.D. Candidate in the Department of Romance Languages and Literatures at Harvard University. I am a Graduate Student Affiliate of the Weatherhead Center for International Affairs at Harvard University and a pensionnaire étranger at the École normale supérieure (rue d'Ulm) in Paris.

At Harvard College, I have been working as a Teaching Fellow for the program in General Education (GenEd 1182: Novel Thought) and as a French language instructor. I have experience teaching French literature and culture at Vassar College (New York) and have taught gender studies at Sciences Po Saint-Germain-en-Laye (France).

My research interests lie at the intersection of literature, politics, and theory, with a special focus on the relationship between space and text. I also study literature through the lenses of queer thought, ecocriticism, and the politics of aesthetics. My two other ongoing research projects focus on the media coverage and artistic treatment of the Gilets jaunes (Yellow Vests) movement in France, as well as the emerging field of fat studies, which I seek to apprehend from the perspective of literary studies.

I am currently working on several article-length manuscripts about space and geometry in Monique Wittig's oeuvre. My article on William Golding's 1954 classic Lord of the Flies recently appeared in the peer-reviewed journal Épistémocritique. These two projects explore the space of what I call "flight without escapism"—a strategy that considers fugitivity not as the foundation of a utopian elsewhere, but as an immanent, affimative and radical way to transform reality. I recently foreworded Monique Wittig's piece of film criticism "Lacunary Films" for Film Quarterly's online column.

In addition to my academic work, I like to translate original texts from English into French. I translated an essay by Monique Wittig for the 09-28-2022 issue of French national newspaper Libération. A piece by contemporary artist Sin Wai Kin I translated and prefaced was published in the May 2021 issue of the French literary magazine Nouvelle Revue Française (Gallimard).
