Vahab Vahdatzad is a postdoctorate fellow at Harvard Medical School, department of surgery and researcher at MGH Institute for Technology Assessment. At ITA, his research targets real-world healthcare problems leading to practical impact on health policy makers and medical practitioners, in the areas of clinical decision makings, disease prevention and control, population health policy analysis, and health service operations.

 Vahab is currently working with Dr. Carrie C. Lubitz and Dr. Jagpreet Chhatwal in cost-effectiveness of diagnosis and management of thyroid cancer using microsimulation modelling and bias analysis in molecular testing .
