Whitney Kozakowski is a Ph.D. candidate in Education Policy and Program Evaluation at the Harvard Graduate School of Education and an IES PIER fellow through the Center for Education Policy Research. Her research is focused on college access and completion. Her current projects examine how college choices affect the private and civic returns to education, particularly for traditionally underrepresented students. Other projects have focused on evaluating efforts to redesign college remediation at the state and institution level to improve students’ outcomes, including shifting remediation to high school and leveraging technology in the classroom.
