Now Assistant Professor at Tsinghua-Berkeley Shenzhen Institute (TBSI)
I was a Post Doctoral Fellow in both the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences (SEAS), and Harvard Center for Green Buildings and Cities (CGBC). Before joining Harvard, I received my D.Phil. (Ph.D.) degree in control engineering from Department of Engineering Science, University of Oxford, UK, in 2015. I received my B.Eng degree in automatic control from Department of Automation, Tsinghua University, China, in 2011.
Research Interests
• Network systems: Optimization and control for smart power networks; HVAC system control in energy efficient buildings; network congestion control/utility maximization; consensus of multi-agent systems through mean-field games; linear (time-delay) systems with input saturation and delay.
• Convex optimization, reverse- and forward-engineering.
• Nonlinear dynamical systems, Lyapunov stability.
• Learning-based control: statistical learning and model predictive control.
