Bio / CV

I obtained my Ph.D. from the Department of Statistics at Harvard University, jointly supervised by Prof. Jun Liu from Department of Statistics, and Prof. Vamsi Mootha from Harvard Medical School.

My research focuses on statistical methods for large-scale integrative genomics.  I'm particularly interested in statistical inference for evolutionary history of human genes and co-evolution of biological pathways  (Li et al. 2014, 2018), as well as statistical methods for integrating large-scale gene expression data to predict transcriptional co-regulations (Li et al. 2017).  I am also interested in variable and interaction term selection for high-dimensional classification problems (Li et al. 2017), and statistical methods for network loss/delay probing data analysis.
