Dr. Yeung (Billy) Au studied at Harvard University between 2007 and 2012 as a graduate student.

He conducted research under the supervision of Professor Roy Gordon in the Department of Chemistry & Chemical Biology. He focused his research on advanced thin film materials, prepared by Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD), and their applications in future generations of microelectronics. Billy and his colleagues developed patented processes that (1) improve interconnects reliability and performance by enhancing interfacial barrier and adhesion properties, (2) metalize extremely narrow (< 20nm) features with copper and its alloys in a bottom-up fashion using a catalytic surfactant, and (3) form conformal seed layers for plating through-silicon vias (TSVs) to enable 3D integration.

Upon graduation, Billy served as a Management Consultant at Boston Consulting Group (BCG). He has topical expertise in business model development, strategic planning, and project management. As a consultant he was engaged in projects across multiple verticals, including technology, consumer goods, and financial services.

Billy is currently heading Google's regional strategy team in Asia-Pacific, driving strategic initiatives to accelerate Google's revenue growth in the region.

歐揚自2016年起任職於谷歌(Google)，主管亞太區策略團隊，為谷歌在大中華、印度、東南亞及日本等地區的業務制定並推行可持續發展的策略。
