Biography

Yu-Chun (Roy) Chang is a proud graduate of the Pennsylvania State University (Pre-Medicine) and a current Masters degree candidate at Harvard University (Biology). He is also blessed to be a research trainee in Dr. Li-Li Hsiao's lab at the Renal Medicine Division of Brigham and Women's Hospital. He looks forward to continuing his education at The Ohio State University College of Medicine in Fall of 2017. There he hopes to be able to further develop his research interests. While he has throughly loved his experiences with bioinformatics and in renal and cardiovascular diseases, Roy is also excited at opportunities to apply his experiences towards exploring the fields of bioengineering, therapeutic development, and clinical/translational research.

When not in lab, Roy enjoys taking walks across cities to explore various neighborhoods, reading books examining historical events or social climates, volunteering at local shelters/kitchens, and of course, cheering on the Nittany Lions in the Fall.
