Dr. Zach Bastick is a research fellow at Harvard University’s Shorenstein Center on Media, Politics, and Public Policy. He explores the effects of social media and AI on societies and their most vulnerable populations, particularly precarious migrants. He has held research and teaching positions at the University of Oxford's Centre on Migration, Policy, and Society (COMPAS), the Harvard University Department of Government, the European University Institute, Paris-Sorbonne University, and Sciences Po Paris, among other institutions.
Research interests: Misinformation, migration, data economy, digital government, digital inclusion.
