Call for applications, Postdoc fellowship at Tsinghua University, Caltech and University of Cambridge

The Department of Earth System Sciences, Tsinghua University, joint with California Institute of Technology and University of Cambridge that provide postdoc fellowship on applied energy, climate change and sustainability.
 

Salary: fellowship of 300,000RMB (47,000$) per year, plus other benefits.

    The advisors group seek four Post-Doctoral Research Scholars to lead the interdisciplinary research. The focus of the research could be on one of the following areas or other topics proposed by candidates:

    1. Climate science and mitigation of greenhouse gas emissions;
    decarbonization of energy system.

    2. New generation data on anthropogenic carbon budget especially
    in developing countries.

    3. Co-benefits of mitigating anthropogenic carbon emissions and
    the air pollution emissions.

    4. Quantitative measurements of carbon footprints and
    environmental impacts embodied in international trade, and the
    assessment of regional and global sustainability

    Job Requirements

    Applicants should have received a PhD degree in related fields, the
    positions are full-time with flexible term for at least 1 year.

    The position and salary will be provided by Tsinghua University, Beijing, but research can be conducted in US (California Institute of Technology) or UK (University of Cambridge).
