My name is Kostas Zoumpatianos and I am a Postdoctoral Fellow in Computer Science at the Data Systems Laboratory (DASLab). I received my PhD from the University of Trento in 2016, having worked at the dbTrento lab, under the supervision of Prof. Themis Palpanas. My research involves topics related to the Management of Big Data Series Collections.

I also hold a M.Sc. in Information Management and a Dipl.Eng. in Information and Communication Systems Engineering from the University of the Aegean.

I have spent (wonderful) time as an intern at Cornell University (2013) and at Harvard University (2014, 2015).

Before joining the academia, I have worked as an independent Software Engineer and Consultant providing my services to a number of companies in Europe and the US.
