About Dr. Burris
Dr. Briana June Burris is a board-certified Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon, who recently completed a two-year fellowship in Endoscopic Maxillofacial Surgery and Minimally Invasive Temporomandibular Joint (TMJ) Surgery at the Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH); after completing her residency training at Harbor-UCLA, a busy Level 1 Trauma Center serving Los Angeles, California. Dr. Burris accepted a full time faculty position as an Attending Surgeon and Associate Program Director at Massachusetts General Hospital-Harvard OMFS residency training program.

Dr. Burris is pursuing a career as an educator-clinician with research focused on the diagnosis and management of immune-based synovial membrane diseases; she also plans to work closely with the medical device industry towards development of more sensitive, minimally-invasive diagnostic modalities and design modifications to improve the ergonomics of surgical instrumentation.
In her time outside the hospital, Dr. Burris enjoys painting, golfing, and hiking.
