Bulelani Jili is a PhD candidate at Harvard University, as a Meta Research PhD Fellow. His research interests include ICT development, Africa-China relations, Cybersecurity, and Privacy Law. He is also a Visiting Fellow at Yale Law School, Fellow at the Atlantic Council, Cybersecurity Fellow at the Harvard Kennedy School, Google Fellow at Information Technology and Innovation Foundation, Scholar-in-residence at Electronic Privacy Information Center, and Research Associate at Oxford University. His writing has appeared in Africa is Country, Nature, Financial Times, The Economist, African Affairs, Theory, Culture and Society, and the Mail and Guardian.
