This course explores Indigenous perspectives on major topics and issues affecting Native North America. Through a deep engagement with Indigenous-authored works, students will explore Native viewpoints on issues ranging from settler colonialism & decolonization to feminism & gender equality. The course ultimately seeks to familiarize students with the major intellectual arguments and themes within the field of Native American & Indigenous Studies.
