Bio

Julia Golda Harris is doctoral student in the American Studies program at Harvard University. She is a scholar of gender, sexuality, and the environment, and her research interests include lesbian history, queer archival practices, geography and place-making, and strategies for survival in the Anthropocene. Julia received her B.A. with Highest Honors from Oberlin College in 2014 in Gender, Sexuality, and Feminist Studies and Studio Art. Before coming to Harvard, she worked as a farmer, and she remains dedicated to dirt.
