Dr. Leandro (Leo) Grimaldi is a Harvard-trained physician-scientist and healcthcare executive with over 10 years of experience working at the intersection of biopharma, innovation, and leadership. Former consultant, he has a passion for drug discovery, development and commercialization spanning across different therapeutic areas and stages of a product's lyfecycle. His background includes 5+ yrs in academia plus working with top Biopharmaceutical & CRO companies, VC Firms, and world-class start ups. Amongst his latest accomplishments, he was part of the core team standing up a virtual biopharma company backed with ~$3+ B of venture capital funds.

Leo's core capabilities include strategic operations (with a focus on hyper-performing teams and change management), preclinical and clinical research, digital health, business development and strategic alliances management, and cross-functional team leadership, combined with a high degree of emotional intelligence and empathy. He served as a consultant for the White House (HHS), the World Health Organization, and several Fortune 500 companies.
