Worked within the department to facilitate smooth operation of several environmental health related projects.  Oversaw the department’s Exposure Biology Research Laboratory. Research assistant and trainee for Superfund Research Program Research Translation Core, and collaborator with Community Engagement Core.

Data analyst for long-term seafood monitoring dataset related to polychlorinated biphenyl (PCB) contamination in the New Bedford Harbor Superfund Site.

  • Analyzed over a decade's worth of data collection on PCB concentrations in quahogs
  • Produced data visuals to identify and communicate trends in PCB concentrations in quahogsover space and time
  • Performed a human health risk analysis for New Bedford Harbor quahog consumption for multiple subpopulations

Alliance for Aquatic Resource Monitoring (ALLARM)

Managed ALLARM’s shale gas volunteer monitoring program across Pennsylvania – a program designed to train community members to monitor streams for early detection of pollution associated with natural gas extraction.
